U.S. Conference on AIDS 2013 – Highlights from Final Day

We are excitedly counting down the 13 remaining days until the opening of the Health Insurance Marketplace on October 1. People living with HIV/AIDS will finally be able to purchase health insurance without being refused for having a pre-existing condition or encountering lifetime caps on how much health care an insurance plan will offer. We can't wait!

FAQ: How Will The Individual Mandate Work?



The federal health law's individual mandate, one of the key building blocks of the insurance overhaul, remains controversial as the October start date approaches for enrolling in new online marketplaces. Individuals who don't get insurance through work will shop for insurance on these websites for policies that will take effect in January.
