The Next Generation: Charles Scott


One in a series of profiles of the 2013 Fellows in the Black AIDS Institute's African American HIV University's Science and Treatment College.

Charles Scott was born in San Antonio to parents who are both doctors. He still remembers when he first became aware of the disease that he later learned was HIV/AIDS.

Actors record phone messages to remind people they may be eligible to enroll in new insurance under the Affordable Care Act

New York, NY – Actors Scarlett Johansson, Aisha Tyler, and Gabrielle Union have teamed up with Planned Parenthood Federation of America to help encourage Americans to learn about their health insurance options under the Affordable Care Act. Each actor recorded a brief phone message which will be used by Planned Parenthood health centers across the country as part of Planned Parenthood's ongoing effort to help women get enrolled and make informed decisions so they can choose a new insurance plan that works best for them.

Adding To Health Insurance Confusion, Other Groups Try To Cash In


TALLAHASSEE - The 30 or so attendees at St. Mary Primitive Baptist Church on a recent evening believed they were about to hear an official presentation by the "Obamacare Enrollment Team" on all of their options to get insurance because of the Affordable Care Act.
