Directors Guild of America, site of the 2015 Heroes in the Struggle Gala Reception and Awards Presentation

On Thursday, June 18, 2015, the Black AIDS Institute will hold its 16th Heroes In The Struggle Gala and Awards Celebration at the Directors Guild of America.

The star-studded event will feature a tribute to several amazing human beings who have made heroic contributions to the fight against HIV/AIDS over the past year, as well as photographic portraits of previous honorees—artists, caregivers, activists, advocates, faith leaders, policymakers, drum majors and entrepreneurs. All of the earlier winners—including such celebrated public figures as Coretta Scott King, Bishop T.D. Jakes and President Bill Clinton—were photographed by some of the nation's greatest photographers, including Kwaku Alston, Duane Cramer, Darien Davis, Greg McNeal, Matthew Jordan Smith and Sharon Farmer.

Next week we will announce who the Institute will honor this year. In the meantime block the date on your calendar.

We look forward to seeing you there!
