Enroll In Tomorrow's Black Lives Matter Webinar

Black lives matter. Know your status.

The Asian and Pacific Islander Wellness Center, based in San Francisco, has partnered with the Black AIDS Institute to launch "Black Lives Matter: HIV Testing & Prevention," a webinar centered on HIV/AIDS in Black America, HIV testing, recruitment strategies and best practices.

Tomorrow the Black AIDS Institute's training and capacity building manager, Denishia L. Clark, will host "Black Lives Matter: HIV Testing & Prevention" for HIV providers who work with Black communities and want to discuss ways to increase this population's engagement in HIV testing services. The webinar will present promising new recruitment approaches and case studies. Participants are encouraged to share their challenges and successes to increase understanding of what testing strategies truly work.

By the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:

• Demonstrate an understanding of factors that contribute to high rates of HIV among Black Americans
• Understand the Continuum of Care for Black Americans
• Describe examples of effective HIV Testing interventions
• Describe new recruitment strategies to reach Black communities
• Discuss the importance of provider-client relationships
