The HIV Workforce Survey Is Open

Have you had problems accessing and completing the HIV Workforce Survey? If so, you're not the only one who has experienced this issue. A technical glitch caused the site to tell some people that the survey is closed. But the survey is still open and we want you to take it.

While understanding the science of HIV is critically important for both treatment and prevention, the level of knowledge of the current work force is not clear. The goal is to better understand what members of the HIV workforce know and don't know about the science of HIV/AIDS, so that appropriate training, capacity building and technical assistance can be created to end the AIDS epidemic in America.

The 62-question survey consists of 21 demographic and screening questions, 26 knowledge questions, and 15 questions about biomedical interventions. Survey participants will have 60 seconds to answer each knowledge question, but there is no time limit for all other questions.

Go here between now and May 1 to take the survey online or call your local AIDS-service organizations to find out if they're administering the survey on an iPad.
