There's still time to join the Black AIDS Institute and The Magic Johnson Foundation as we commemorate World AIDS Day with the 10th Annual Heroes in the Struggle Gala Reception, Silent Auction and Awards Ceremony TOMORROW, Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at the Avalon Hollywood. This star-studded event begins with the reception and silent auction at 6pm. Awards presentation begins promptly at 7:30pm.

Heroes in the Struggle is a photographic tribute to Americans who have made outstanding contributions in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Since its debut on World AIDS Day, Dec. 1, 2001, the Heroes In The Struggle exhibit has traveled around the country, raising awareness, challenging individuals and institutions to get involved in their communities, and generating critical conversation about HIV testing and treatment.

This year's Heroes are: President Bill Clinton, Founder of the William J. Clinton Foundation and 42nd President of the United States; Blair Underwood, Award-Winning Actor, "The Event"; Lee L. Daniels, Academy Award-Nominated Producer and Director. "Precious"; Sheila C. Johnson, Businesswoman and Philanthropist, Executive Producer, "The Other City," Marvelyn Brown, AIDS Activist; Frank Oldham, Jr., President, National Association of People With AIDS; Willis Edwards, Civil Rights Icon, Board Member, NAACP; Robi Reed, Award-Winning Producer, Casting Director, "For Colored Girls";  National Basketball Association, Corporate Hero.

This year's event will be co-hosted by CNN commentator Roland Martin and Actor/Comedian Sinbad. Celebrity Presenters include Loretta Devine, Hill Harper, Marc Brown, Michaela Perreira, Tasha Smith, Vanessa Williams, Omari Hardwick, Boobe' J. Thompson, Tessa Thompson, Dule Hill, Tatiana Ali, Rhyon Brown, and more.

The evening will include musical performances by Kenny Latimore, Deniece Williams, Vesta, Mikki Howard and others. This is an event you don't want to miss!
