Black AIDS Institute Seeks People to Interview About Health Insurance

The Institute wants to hear from you regarding the ACA

Are you Black and have something to say about health insurance? If so, the Black AIDS Institute wants to speak to you.

The Institute is preparing a report on Black America's stakes in the ongoing debate about the future of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), commonly known as Obamacare.

From the "PrEP to Live" Brunch in Little Rock, Ark., on this past Sunday, to the BTAN 3-Day HIV Training in Charlotte taking place later this week, to the Youth Block Party the Star Track Clinic will hold in Baltimore on June 19th, the Black AIDS Institute's Online Community Calendar is live.

Gerald Garth Named LA Pride Ambassador

Gerald Garth, an ambassador for LA Pride 2017

Congratulations to Gerald Garth, who has been named an ambassador for Los Angeles's annual LA Pride Parade and Festival. A video featuring Gerald, and other images of him, will be used to promote the celebration, which has taken place since 1970 as a response to and in commemoration of the Stonewall Rebellion on Christopher Street in New York City the year prior.
