Reaching the Mountaintop


One of the ways I celebrated the Martin Luther King, Jr., holiday was by seeing Samuel Jackson and Angela Bassett in The Mountaintop. It is a very interesting piece of theater and an interesting idea: It's about Dr. Martin Luther King's last night on earth.

One Size Does Not Fit All: USCA Town Hall Meeting Focuses on Black Gay and Bi Men


The soaring number of seroconversions among young Black MSM was among the key topics of discussion during a town hall meeting about Black gay and bisexual men and HIV held at the 2011 U.S. Conference on AIDS in Chicago in November.

A Conversation With PACHA Chair Nancy Mahon


 

On December 1, 2011, Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius announced the appointment of Nancy Mahon, Senior Vice President of MAC Cosmetics and Executive Director of the MAC AIDS Fund, to chair the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS (PACHA).
