PA Seeks Applicants for HIV Planning Group


The Black AIDS Institute encourages people to participate in their local HIV/AIDS Planning Groups. In Pennsylvania, the Department of Health is seeking applications for the Pennsylvania HIV Planning Group.

They are particularly interested in applicants who are persons living with or at high risk for acquiring HIV/AIDS, racial and ethnic minorities especially African-American/Black and Hispanic/Latino individuals that identify with or represent risk categories (see list on the nomination form), youth as identified between the ages of 13 and 29, individuals identifying with injection drug use (IDU), transgender and heterosexual, individuals who identify as Ryan White affiliations with Part A, Part B, Part C, Part D, Part E and Part F. However, all applicants will be given consideration. Self-nominations are encouraged. All meetings are in the Harrisburg area.
