This week we continue our series about people living with HIV/AIDS who are also on ARV treatment by profiling Brandon Kennedy, one of the faces of the "Let's Stop HIV Together" initiative of the Act Against AIDS Campaign.

We also tell you about a recent CDC report that shows that one-fourth of new U.S. HIV infections occur among young people. Most, as we know, are African American. Our friends at AIDS.gov report.

As the government is building the health exchanges that the Affordable Care Act will offer, we tell you who currently fits the profile of the uninsured and how much experts predict the exchanges will impact consumers' price of insurance. And more research is in on the possible relationship between hormonal contraceptives and HIV transmission.

Yours in the struggle,
