IAS Presence at the 2011 United States Conference on AIDS (USCA), Chicago, 10-13 November 2011

The International AIDS Society (IAS) is pleased to inform its members in the United States and Canada that we will be present at the 2011 United States Conference on AIDS (USCA), at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers, in Chicago, Illinois, on 10-13 November 2011.
We see this as an opportunity to interact with those IAS members who will be participating in the meetings. If you are going to attend the conference, we invite you to stop by at the IAS booth – number 613 – in the exhibition area (open 10 am-1 pm and 2-5 pm on 10-12 November) to receive more information about the XIX International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2012) in Washington DC, and about the IAS and its activities.

Seminar: AIDS 2012 – U.S. Partners Session

Black AIDS Institute and the U.S. Positive Women’s Network (PWN), the two U.S. Community Partners on the AIDS 2012 Conference Coordinating Committee, will be hosting a three-hour seminar at USCA. The purpose of the seminar is to provide information and insight to U.S. groups interested in engaging with AIDS 2012. Presenters will give an overview of the conference, including a conference timeline, and highlight key opportunities for engagement. Of particular interest will be discussions on local hub development, global village activities, scholarships, abstract preparation, and securing media coverage. Substantial time will be allotted for discussion and strategizing among presenters and participants.
