Graduation of AAHU CMC Class of 2011

The Black AIDS Institute is exceptionally pleased to announce the commencement of 20 graduates from its African American HIV University Community Mobilization College (AAHU CMC). On February 18th 2012 the Class of 2011 completed AAHU CMC.
The 11-month comprehensive training program consisted of three trainings, and three internship periods, and a symposium. AAHU CMC 2011 Graduates introduced mobilization campaigns to change the HIV epidemic in their local Black communities. Their efforts included mobilizing senior citizens, young people, the house ball community, stakeholders, rehabilitated substance abusers, and faith based organizations in HIV prevention and treatment.
