BTAN to Meet Prior to USCA

Black Treatment Advocates Network

Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 1st, The Black AIDS Institute will convene an all-day National Black Treatment Advocates Network (BTAN) meeting on the day before the kickoff of the United States Conference on AIDS (USCA). This will be an opportunity to find out about BTAN and why there should be a BTAN chapter in your city.

There will be information provided about how to start a BTAN chapter and opportunities to develop strategies with BTAN leaders from across the country on best practices. Tools will be provided regarding project planning and implementation, along with experts who will speak to BTAN priority areas of treatment education, patient navigation, disclosure and advocacy. Come network with your BTAN colleagues!
